Passing of a friend

A few days ago I found out that a good friend of mine pasted away from a drug overdose. Ray Pachter struggled with addiction, but out of all this he was an amazing musician. I had the honor to share stages with him for many years with many different bands. I watched him grow as a person and a musician. I think out of all of us that went our ways in life he stayed true to his love of music. As much as his untimely death hurts now, Life goes on and we have to remember the good times and keep on living for ourselves and the ones that have past. A lesson that i took for this is that, people die that is the way of life and it is alright to be sad but you have to be strong. If anything this has hurt me at first i don't think it has really got to sink in yet but it pushes me to keep living, follow my dreams to be a professional artist. And just keep kicking ass in school. I will miss you Ray. You were a great friend, and i will always hold onto the crazy memories that i have of you and the shows we played.
